SANDRA
GLEICHER, 96,

of West
Bloomfield, died
Dec. 17, 2013.
She returned
to Michigan
in 2006 after
spending 25
years in Florida. A volunteer for
many charities, Mrs. Gleicher was
active with the Red Cross at Sinai
and Grace hospitals for many
years and also used to dance with
Danny Thomas.
She is survived by sisters-in-
law, Annette Fingeroot, Phyllis
Marcus; nieces and neph-
ews, Joel Silberblatt, Frances
Fingeroot and Jerold Ziperstein,
Susan Adler Shanteau and John
Shanteau, Marty Fingeroot,
Judith and Howard Jacobs,
Howard Fingeroot, William and
Marilyn Paul, Linda and Harold
Weinstock, Harriet Miller Darvas,
Warren and Amy Gleicher, Paul
and Lisa Sharkey Gleicher; great-
nieces and great-nephews, includ-
ing Marla and Patrick McCowan,
Sheryl and Michael Gold, Robyn
and Edward Grodin, Michelle
Ziperstein, Carolyn Adler,
Michelle and Bruce Twersky,
Bryan and Rachel Fingeroot,
Danny and Samantha Fingeroot,
Natalie Fingeroot, Danielle
Jacobs, Jennifer Jacobs, Allison
Adler, Nicole Churchill, Bradley
Fingeroot; great-great-nieces and
great-great-nephews, including
Morgan and Brandon McCowan,
Gillian and Madelyn Gold, and
Dylan Fingeroot.
Mrs. Gleicher was the beloved
wife of the late Jerome Gleicher;
loving daughter of the late Mary
and the late Jacob Fingeroot; lov-
ing sister and sister-in-law of the
late Ben Fingeroot, and the late
Max and the late Bess Fingeroot,
the late Norman Gleicher, the late
Sylvia Gleicher Paul and the late
Jack Paul; loving aunt of the late
Sara Silberblatt.
Interment was at Hebrew
Memorial Park Cemetery.
