Farmington Hills are thrilled to
announce the engagement of their
daughter Jackie Schwartz to Joey Yashinsky,
son of Debra and Gary Yashinsky of
Farmington Hills.
Jackie graduated from Michigan State
University with a B.A. degree in social work
with a specialization in Jewish studies. She is
the development associate at the Holocaust
Memorial Center.
Joey graduated from Michigan State
University with a B.A. degree in broadcast
journalism. He is a sports columnist at
Deadline Detroit.
Joey surprised Jackie with a proposal during a dual stand-up comedy show.
A May wedding is planned at Congregation B'nai Moshe in West Bloomfield.
