She was a business
consultant and freelance
editor who graduated

brother-in-law, Dr. Susan and Elliot Zeltzer of
Farmington Hills; brother and sister-in-law,
Jordan Cohen and Kim Susser of New York;
nephews, Stuart Zeltzer, Paul Zeltzer, Barry
Zeltzer, Charlie Cohen and Ethan Cohen.
She was the devoted daughter of the late
Bernard and the late Gladys Cohen.

68, of Huntington Woods,
died Nov. 17, 2013.
An auditor for the
unemployment office,
Mr. Dworkin was a mem-
ber of the Eddie Jacobson
Lodge of B'nai B'rith and
its bowling league.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years,
Sharon Dworkin of Huntington Woods;
daughter, Debbi Dworkin of Berkley; son
and daughter-in-law, Jason and Rachel
Dworkin of Los Lunas, N.M.; grandson,
Avi Dworkin; brother and sister-in-law, Dr.
Michael G. and Terri Dworkin of Southfield;
sister, Helene Dworkin of Farmington Hills.
Mr. Dworkin was the devoted son of the
late Evelyn and the late Henry Dworkin.
Interment was at Hebrew Memorial Park

the late Hyman Boyer; the sister of the late
Dorothy Meitler.

PAUL GREENSPAN, 91,
of Southfield, died Nov.
14, 2013.
He was born Jan. 1,
1922, in Koningsberg,
Germany, to Fay and
David Grunspan.
Paul was a true sur-
Greenspan
vivor. He battled cancer
for many years with
bravery and dignity.
During the Holocaust,
where his entire family
perished, he risked his
life many times to help
others. He came to this
country in 1947 with his
bride, Sally, to start a new life.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted
wife of 67 years, Sally Greenspan; his
daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Dr.
Mark Saffer of West Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren, Sarah (David) Leib, Melissa Saffer
(fiance, Matt Goldstein); great-granddaugh-
ter, Brooklyn Leib; brother-in-law and
sister-in-law, Sigmunt and Dolores Kimmel;
niece, Lisa Kimmel; nephew, Larry Kimmel;
partner, Ron Baker; caring friend, Bruce
Allen; his loving angels, Aletha and Stella.

GROSSINGER, passed
away peacefully in her
home in San Jose, Calif.,
on Nov 9, 2013.

She is survived by
sons, Peter and George; daughter-in-law,
Sandi; grandchildren, Kevin and Amy.
Agi, along with her immediate family,
survived the Holocaust in Budapest, emi-
grating to the U.S. in 1962. She and Joe,
who passed away in 2001, were married
for 54 years and operated a meat busi-
ness in Livonia until 1982. They moved to
California thereafter to be closer to their
children and grandchildren.
She is most beloved and remembered by
family and friends from around the world,
including Israel, Canada, Australia and
Hungary.

JUDITH RHEA GUZ, 78, of Huntington
Woods, died Nov. 16, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Debra and Jon Rittman of
Huntington Woods; sons and daughters-in-
law, Brian and Elizabeth Guz of Franklin,
and Evan and Karen Guz of San Antonio,
Texas; grandchildren, David Guz, Lauren
Guz, Dylan Rittman, Danielle Rittman,
Connor Rittman, Samantha Guz, Jaclyn
Guz; brother, Irwin Baumhaft; sister and
brother-in-law, Marlene and Phil Ozrovitz.
Mrs. Guz was the loving grandmother of
the late Michael Guz.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park

ELLIOTT KAPLAN, 87
of Livonia, died Nov. 14,
2013.
A World War II vet-
eran, auditor for the state
of Michigan, accountant
for Canvas Products
Company and principal
Kaplan
of Miss Ceil's Nursery,
Mr. Kaplan, later in life, enjoyed working
alongside his son, David, in his restaurant
and real estate businesses and caring for his
granddaughters.
He was an avid sports fan and a devoted,
dependable family man with a great sense
of humor.
Mr. Kaplan was the beloved husband
for 65 years of Cecile Kaplan; cherished
father of Janet Kaplan, Rob (Kim) Kaplan
and David (Denise) Kaplan; loving grand-
father of Dr. Julie Kaplan (fiance, Andrew
Prussack), Danielle Kaplan (boyfriend, Dr.
Douglas Cabell) and Lauren Kaplan.
He was the dear son of the late Frances
and the late Israel Kaplan; the devoted
brother of the late Jacob Kaplan.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial Park.
