In churches, in the academy, and in the courtroom, persons

vah Friday, Nov. 22,
at Temple Israel in

West Bloomfield.

Her siblings, Ryan
and Ben, will share in the simchah as
will grandparents Carol and Dr.
Frederic Fletcher, and Judie Blumeno.
Tess is also the grandchild of the late
Norman Blumeno.
Tess is a seventh-grader at
Kingswood Girls Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. She felt her most
meaningful mitzvah project was
donating funds and gently used
dance and athletic clothing to the
Better Together House in Nazareth
Ilit, Israel, which will help this com-
munity center to continue its existing
programs.

as he celebrates his
bar mitzvah
Saturday, Nov. 23, at

Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. He
is the brother of Samantha, Brandon
and Danielle. Sharing in the simchah
will be grandparents Elaine
Ackerman, and Andrea and Stan
Bank. Morgan is also the grandson of
the late Rubin Sandler.
Morgan attends Hillside Middle
School in Novi. His most meaningful
mitzvah experience was his involve-
ment with the Backpack Project.

Saturday, Nov. 23.

She is the daughter
of Jennifer and Steve
Teper, sister of Jason and grand-
daughter of Anna and Yale Levin,
Brenda and Richard Rader, and the
late Gerald Teper.
Melanie is in seventh grade at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. She has par-
ticipated in several mitzvah projects
with both Hillel and Shaarey Zedek,
but her most meaningful was knitting
and coordinating the knitting of 250
doll caps for Hadassah's doll project.

West Bloomfield are thrilled to
celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary on Nov. 27. They will mark the
occasion at a family dinner and on a cruise
with their children and grandchildren. The
couple's children are Dr. Richard and Ella
Reitman, and Wendy and Jason Rubin. Their
grandchildren are Sophie and Maddie Rubin.
