mery's Creative Jewelry in

Farmington Hills, which is
approaching 30 years in busi-
ness, is the perfect spot to find holiday
gifts.
It was 1947 when Emery Weinberger
came to America and launched his
career in the jewelry business. As his
business began to grow so did his son's
curiosity for the jewelry business. At
age 9, Rob Weinberger began to go to
work with his father every chance he
got.
Through the years, father and son
grew the business, moving to Hunter's
Square in Farmington Hills in 1984. It
is still there.
Emery died in 1993, but Emery's
is still very much a family-run busi-
ness. His son Rob and daughter Terri
Herman run the business, as does
their mother, Natalie, who is still very
much involved. Rob's wife, Debe, and
Terri's husband, Howard Herman, also
work at the store, as does Rob and

Debe's daughter, Ali, a recent graduate
of Michigan State University.
The Weinbergers are longtime Oak
Parkers, who attend the Woodward
Avenue Shul.
Emery's Creative Jewelry is the per-
fect spot to find Pandora, a gift for any
celebration, men's gifts and watches
for anyone and a place to see local
Michigan artists such as Adina, Love
Judy, Carol Rock, Two Friends and
Bella Beads.
And, when you buy an Emery's
gift card for the holiday, a portion
of the proceeds will go to support
the Holocaust Memorial Center in
Farmington Hills.
"Dad was a Holocaust survivor:' Rob
says, "and we are big supporters of the
center:'

Emery's Creative Jewelry is open
Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and
is located at 30975 Orchard Lake Road,
Farmington Hills; (248) 855-0433.
