Schultz He is the son of Karen Schultz Tarnopol, and Eric Schultz and Stacey Olson. Sharing in the simchah will be grandparents Sandra Tarnopol, Sylvia and Alvin Schultz, and Rosalind and Leon Levine. Jonah is also the grandson of the late Saul Tarnopol. Jonah attends East Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. He felt volunteering at DMC Children's Hospital was a meaningful mitzvah project. His most meaningful mitzvah project was organizing a basketball tourna- ment to raise money for Hoops for Kids, a nonprofit organization that benefits underprivileged youth in Netanya, Israel. He is also the grandson of the late Ronald Stone. Jonah is a student at Bloomfield Hills Middle School. For his mitzvah project, he and his dog, Sam, visited residents at Fleishman Residence on the Jewish Community Center cam- pus and interacted with them. Michael Viviano of Birmingham became a bar mitzvah at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield on Saturday, Oct. 26. Participating in the Viviano ceremony were his parents, Cheryl Luckoff and David Viviano, and his brother Jacob. Proud grandparents are Allan and Arline Luckoff Rein, and Joanne Viviano. Michael is also the grandson of the late Alan E. Luckoff and the late Will Viviano. Michael is a student at Derby Middle School in Birmingham.
