Mitchell Alekman
was called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah at Temple Shir
Shalom in West
Bloomfield on
Saturday, Oct. 26. He
is the son of proud
Alekman
parents Joy and Jeff
Alekman, brother of
Dean, and grandson of Caryl and
Richard Pevos, Paul Alekman and the
late Ann Alekman.
As part of his mitzvah project,
Mitchell volunteers for TOPSoccer to
play soccer with children who have
special needs. He is in eighth grade at
Dunckel Middle School in Farmington
Hills.

daughter of Chuck
and Shari Bross, will
celebrate her bat
mitzvah Saturday,
Nov. 2, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills.
Bross
Sharing in the cele-
bration will be her
brother Jake and grandparents Beverly
Greenspan, Raymond Greenspan and
Faye Bross. Jordan is also the grand-
daughter of the late Seymour Bross.
Jordan is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Her mitzvah project
included volunteering at Congregation
Beth Shalom's summer preschool camp.

become a bar mitz-
vah at the
Birmingham
Temple on Friday,
Edelman
Nov. 1. Proud grand-
parents are Joyce and
Jerry Weiss, and Jan and Stu Edelman.
Dylan attends Abbott Middle School
in West Bloomfield. He did his mitzvah
project with an organization called
Stars Guitars, which raises money for
survivors of childhood cancer.

Molly Gayle
Goldman, daughter
of Annie Goldman
and Michael
Goldman, will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah
Saturday, Nov. 2, at
Temple Israel in
Goldman
West Bloomfield.
Sharing in her sim-
chah will be her proud grandparents
Marilyn Goldman and Carolyn Martin.
She is also the granddaughter of the late

Arthur Goldman.
Molly attends O.E. Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. She raised
significant funds for the Relay for Life
in Northville/Novi and felt this was a
meaningful mitzvah project.

sister of Ava, read

Saturday, Oct. 26, at
Temple Kol Ami in
West Bloomfield as
Joyrich
she celebrated her bat
mitzvah. Sharing in
the simchah were her loving grand-
mothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and
many other friends. With her in spirit
was her late grandfather Myron H.
Joyrich.
Eden is a seventh-grade student
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. Her mitz-
vah projects included volunteering at
Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield.

Kayla Bobby Lett
celebrated her bat
mitzvah on Saturday,
Oct. 19, in Traverse
City. She is the
daughter of Jennifer
and Adam Lett and
the loving sister of
Lett
Nathan. Her very
proud grandparents
are Moreen and Marshall Lett, and
Carol and Glen Bucher.
Kayla attends Cherryland Middle
School in Elk Rapids, Mich. Among her
many mitzvah projects, she found mak-
ing toys and blankets for the dogs and
cats at the Cherryland Humane Society
to be very meaningful.

Jessica Elyse
Menuck, daughter of
Lisa and Mark
Menuck and sister of
Harrison and Eli, will
lead the congregation
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield
Menuck
Friday, Nov. 1, as she
celebrates her bat
mitzvah. Her proud grandparents are
Rosalie and Steven Harris, and Dorothy
and Allen Menuck. She is the grand-
child of the late Jackie Menuck. The
family is thrilled to have great-grand-
mother Shirley Sweet Ehrlich sharing
the celebration with them.
Jessica attends Derby Middle School
in Birmingham. For her mitzvah
project, she is volunteering at the
Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield,
working with children who have special
needs.
