HELEN JACOBS, 88,

of Holly, died Sept.
24, 2013.
She is survived
by her daughter and
son-in-law, Susan
Jacobs and Mike
Scovel of Holly;
Jacobs
grandchildren, Joshua
(Amanda) Scovel, Anthony Higgins,
Candice (Jason) Green, Angela Scovel;
great-grandchildren, Mikey, Jonathan,
Zack, Madison, Nathan, David, Aaron,
Addison, Aiden; many loving nieces,
nephews, other family members and
friends.
Mrs. Jacobs was the beloved wife
of the late Morris Jacobs; the mother
of the late Myron Jacobs and the late
Barbara Jacobs; the grandmother of the
late Jeremy Scovel.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment
took place at the Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

JUDIKOVIC, 93, of

West Bloomfield, died
Sept. 28, 2013.
One of the first
things Mr. Judikovic
did after joining Adat
Shalom Synagogue
Judikovic
in Farmington Hills
25 years ago was to
become part of the
Shabbat Morning
Usher Corps. In time,
he added head vol-
unteer High Holiday
usher to his resume as
well. He was also able
to read his haftorah in honor of the 75th
anniversary of his bar mitzvah.
A Holocaust survivor, Judikovic spent
two years in a labor camp and fought with
the partisan resistance movement against
the Nazis. He was a volunteer speaker
at the Holocaust Center in Farmington
Hills, where his oral history is filed in the
library. He spoke six languages.
Mr. Judikovic is survived by his wife
of 64 years, Bozena Judikovic of West
Bloomfield; sisters, Hedy Duschinsky of
Farmington Hills and Lola Schoenberger
of Southfield; many loving nieces and
nephews.
He was the cherished brother of the
late Lil Rosenberg; the brother-in-law of
the late Joseph Duschinsky and the late
Igor Schoenberger.
Interment was at Hebrew Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made
to Adat Shalom Synagogue, 29901
Middlebelt, Farmington Hills, MI
48331; or Holocaust Memorial Center,
28123 Orchard Lake Road, Farmington
Hills, MI 48334. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.
