Sept. 11, 2013.

Glasgow, Scotland, on
June 5, 1916, the daugh-
ter of Anna and Morris
Keller. She was born as
Grant
Rebecca. Her name was

Jewish "custom:' when, as an infant, she
became seriously ill. Rita Grant became a
name synonymous with love and selfless-
ness.
She was a den mother, an ORT and
Hadassah volunteer and, a member of the

gave back to family, friends and the com-

A very special person, Rita is mourned,
but celebrated, by those fortunate enough
to have known and been touched by her
love, gentility and graciousness. As a

grandmother, she loved and was loved by
all. She was the sweetheart and wife of her
Ben for more than 50 years; the adoring
and adored mother of Paul and Richard;
the extremely close sister of Nettie, Edna,
Eleanor and Don; the friend of many, the
adversary of none.

sons, Paul and Richard; their spouses,
Marc and Susan; her grandson, Michael,
and his wife, Elizabeth; sisters, Edna and
Ruth; her many nieces and nephews;
