he Friends of Israel was formed in 1938 in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, by a group of godly men who felt God
leading them to help the suffering Jewish people of Eu-
rope. So confident were they that God would keep His
promise to raise the Jewish people out of the dust and make
them a nation again that they named the ministry The
Friends of Israel 10 years before the modem State of Israel
was founded in 1948. Today we continue to stand against
every form of anti-Semitism and support the right of the
Jewish people to live in their ancient homeland, Israel.

Support for Israel is built through:

* Thank God for Israel events
* Participating in the Detroit Jewish Community's annual

Walk for Israel
* StandWithUs-MI events
* Semi-annual Up to Jerusalem tours
