EVELYN VIRGINIA
JOHNSON, 87, of West
Bloomfield, died Sept.
3, 2013.
She was born in Penn
Yan, N.Y.
She was a long-
time member of the
Johnson
Daughters of The
c. 1988
American Revolution.
She was an employee of the Farmington
Public Schools for 20 years.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by a brother
and sister-in-law, Loyle and Joyce
Frederick Egger of Hammondsport,
N.Y.; her children, Dr. Diane Alice Culik
and Stephen L. Keys of Farmington
Hills, Linda Vee Huston, Mark Walter
Johnson, and Carol Gerda Johnson, all
of California; her grandchildren, Anna
Culik and Peter Deyo of Traverse City,
Josef and Shawna Culik of Boston, Laura
Huston and Henkel Smith, Monica and
Seth Kaplan, Nathan Johnson; great-
granddaughter, Dylan Eliana Smith.
She was the beloved wife for 68 years
of Walter Evald Johnson, who passed
away April 27, 2013. She was the daugh-
ter of Alice Martha Rogers Egger and
Frederick Joseph Egger.
Funeral arrangements by the Keehn
Funeral Home. Interment will be at the
Fairview Cemetery in Brighton on Oct.
5, 2013, at 10 a.m. Contributions may be
made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th St.,
Washington, D.C. 20036; or the Arthur
Dubin Children's Special Needs School

Mrs. Kent was the sister of the late
Max (the late Ann) Rosenberg, the late
Esther (the late Dave) Goldstein.

took place at the Adat Shalom Memorial
Park in Livonia. Arrangements by

He was a member
of the Vacuum Dealer
Trade Association and
Rotary Club.
He is survived by his

daughter-in-law, Chad Rubin and Shira

Mr. Rubin is also survived by his lov-
ing companion and best friend, Judy
Herskovitz, and her family, Elizabeth
and Ady Peleg, Ilona and Jonah Peleg,
Cari Herskovitz-Rosenbloom and Yisroel
Rosenbloom.
Mr. Rubin is the loving son of the late
Nancy and the late Hyman Rubin; dear

brother of the late Jack Rubin.

first female lawyers in
the country graduating
from Ohio Northern

Law School in 1928 and
Siegel
outlived her law school.

vived by her nieces and nephews,
Marlene Levitt of San Diego, Sue Marx,
Kim Levitt and Rick Chesbrough,
Harriett Israel, Eric, Julia and Lysa
Chesbrough, Josh Lieberman, Johanna
Lieberman of Los Angeles and Cheryl
Gothelf of Hollywood, Fla.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Albert "Al" Siegel and the loving aunt
of the late Hank Marx and the late Sid
Israel.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
