announce the upcoming wedding of her son
Bret Borock of Ann Arbor to Lindsey Slater
of Kalamazoo.
Bret and Lindsey are both graduates
of Western Michigan University. Bret is
employed with Armada Commercial Real
Estate in West Bloomfield and Lindsey
works as a respiratory therapist at C.S. Mott
Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Sharing their happiness is Bret's father,
Mel Borock, and Lindsey's parents, Michele
and Steve Slater of Kalamazoo.
Bret and Lindsey will be married in October at the Radisson Hotel in
Kalamazoo followed by a honeymoon in Hawaii; they will reside in Ann Arbor.

recently in Jerusalem, Israel. The
bride is the daughter of Jere Finer of Israel,
and Steven Finer of St. Louis, Mo. Parents
of the groom are Melissa and Bob Lurie of
Troy.
The bride's sisters, Aliza Grossman and
Daniella Finer of Miami, Fla., along with
the groom's parents, Melissa and Bob Lurie
of Troy; grandmother Lois Lurie Frank; and
the groom's brothers, Rob and John Lurie,
joined the happy couple under the chup-
pah. The father and brother of groom and
friends read the sheva brachot (seven blessings). Rabbi Zvi Ron officiated.
The newlyweds lived in Jerusalem, but, in August, made their home in the
United States.

to Tristan Bradley, son of Brad Jones of
Monticello, Ind., and the late Marcia Jones.
Rachael earned her bachelor of science
degree in biology and child psychology from
Purdue University. She is a graduate student
at Wayne State University in child/adolescent
clinical psychology.
Tristan earned his bachelor of science
degree in finance from Krannert School of
Management at Purdue University. He is a
securities analyst with Edward Jones Investments.
An October wedding is planned at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.
