To celebrate, the boys (along with their little brothers in Cub Scout Troop 613 and their sisters in Girl Scout Troop 71613) have set a goal of bringing 50 new families into Scouting. Along with publicity efforts occur- ring in Hebrew school classrooms throughout Metro Detroit, the Scouts and their families have lined up an exciting array of events to attract potential new members: ❑ Shallal Retires As Head Of Kadima A fter more than 20 years of dedicated service, Janette Shallal has retired from her position as executive director of Southfield-based Kadima, a non- profit, nonsectar- ian mental health agency that pro- vides residential and support ser- vices for children and adults with mental illness in Janette Oakland County. Shallal Kadima was in its infancy at the onset of Shallal's tenure as head of the agency. Through her tireless efforts to ensure that Kadima remained steadfast in its efforts to maximize clients' independence and promote reintegration into the community, she DESIGNS IN DECORATOR WOOD & LAMINATES, LTD. has grown Kadima into a thriving, professional and caring agency serv- ing more than 200 clients diagnosed with serious mental illness.
