Walk Of Ages

From seniors to children,
this annual JSL event was a great success.

ewish Senior Life's 11th annual
W.J. & Lillian Remler Walk of
Ages on Aug. 18 was chaired by
Wendy Heller Kippelman, Linda Solomon
and Nori Rubin and led by Grand Marshal
Maggie Savage and Grand Marshal
Emeritus Danny Raskin.
Enthusiastic volunteers welcomed walkers
and JSL residents alike, and the Jewish War
Veterans Color Guard was on duty for the

event. Children loved the petting zoo and
train, and older adults from JSL residences
on the Applebaum Jewish Community
Campus in West Bloomfield cheered on the
walkers from seats along the sidelines.
"I want to thank the community for
coming out to support the Auxiliary for
Jewish Senior Life and walk for our older
adults — who are the heart and soul of our
entire community:' Savage said.
