Eustaaa Cutler

Autism activist, Eustacia Cutler will discuss autism and the emerging brain research wit
its insightful possibilities for change. Ms. Cutler will discuss what causes rigid behavior
in autism, the impact of autism and its particular characteristics on families, schools,
and social situations. Ms. Cutler will also highlight disability advocacy and effective
collaborative strategies for teachers, parents and mental health practitioners. Through
her life experiences of hope and perseverance, Ms. Cutler will share the challenges and
triumphs of raising Temple Grandin, Ph.D. during the "Leave-it-to-Beaver" fifties. As
Ms. Cutler says, "Temple Grandin has achieved success beyond my wildest dreams:'
