Cohen will be called
to the Torah as a bat
mitzvah on
Saturday, Aug. 24, at
Congregation B'nai
Moshe in West
Bloomfield. She is

the daughter of
Elaine and Paul
Cohen and the sister of Jaclyn.
Sharing in this simchah will be her
grandparents Marlene and Stephen
Kaufman, and Herbert Cohen and
fiancee, Harriet Trager. Samantha is
also the granddaughter of the late
Cecile Cohen.
Samantha is an eighth-grader
at Clifford Smart Middle School
in Commerce Township. Her most
meaningful mitzvah project was vol-
unteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Dziuba, daughter of
Timothy and Julie
Dziuba, will cele-
brate her bat mitz-
vah Saturday, Aug.
24, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Dziuba
Southfield. She is
the sister of Caitlyn
and Anthony; the granddaughter of
Anne and Edward Dziuba, Marilyn
Kales and Paul Sacks; the great-
granddaughter of Paul Kales and the
late Lorraine Kales.
Isabel attends Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. She has
done several mitzvah projects, but her
most meaningful is the time she has
spent over the last several years vol-
unteering at the Jewish Community
Center's Thursday night social group.

Saturday Aug. 24.
He is the son of
Rotter
Holly (Shay) and
David Rotter, broth-
er of Mitchell and grandson of Jack
and Joanne Shay, the late Zelda Shay,
and Norman and Harriet Rotter.
For his mitzvah project, Daniel
grew his hair and donated 12 inches
of it to Wigs for Kids.

Sydney Lynne Trepeck , daughters of
Terri and Jeffrey Trepeck, will share
the bimah at Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield Saturday, Aug. 24, as they
celebrate their b'not mitzvah. Sharing
in the simchah will be grandparents
Reva and Bob Rosen, Sheila and
Larry Trepeck and great-grandmother
Claire Carson.
Samantha and Sydney are students
at Bloomfield Hills Middle School.
They performed many mitzvah proj-
ects but felt helping send a child to
camp was the most meaningful one.
