host Dan Pollak, director of the
Government Relations Department
of the national-level ZOA, head-
quartered in Washington, D.C.
He will share insights from his
past six years advocating for Israel
and demonstrate the importance
of engagement with local govern-
ment officials, including a tutorial
on how best to advocate for Israel.
Pollak will discuss the nomina-
tion of Secretary of Defense Chuck
Hagel. He will also review the
ongoing attempts to make U.S. aid
to the Palestinian Authority con-
tingent on their compliance with
the agreements they have signed.
