thrilled to announce the birth of their beautiful daugh-
ter, Alexandra Miriam (Ahavah Miriam). Excited and
proud "baubie" and papa are Allan and Karen Lovinger

Louis Carlton. Lexi is the great-granddaughter of the late
Sam and the late Sylvia Isaacs, and the late Arthur and the
late Rose Lovinger. Lexi is named in loving memory of her
mother's wonderful friend Alexandra Marie Graham.

Congregation Beth
Shalom in Oak Park.

Rabbi Robert Gamer
and Cantor Sam
Greenbaum will lead
services. Participating
in the ceremony will be her parents,
Jennifer and Sid Zack, and her sister
Rachel. Equally proud are her grand-
parents Denise and Jim Klanseck, and
Liming and Don Scott. Shayna is also
the granddaughter of the late Rachel
and the late Michael Zack.
Shayna is a student at Geisler
Middle School in Commerce. Her most
meaningful mitzvah project was col-
lecting food for the Hospitality House
Food Bank.

Osterweil of Scottsdale, Ariz., are

Parents of the couple are Bernice Miller of
West Bloomfield and the late Melvin Miller,
Shelley and Norman Merkin of Scottsdale,
and Sona and Alan Osterweil of New York
City.
The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree
in psychology, a master's degree in social
work at Wayne State University and a doc-
torate in behavioral health at Arizona State
University. She is a doctor of behavioral
health/licensed clinical social worker at A
Wiser Mind and an active volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Kutztown
University. He is a pharmacy technician at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.
A Dec. 8, 2013, wedding is planned at the Millennium Resort in Scottsdale.
