With the market heating up and homes selling at a fast pace, it may
seem like a good idea to try to make a go of it on your own, but there
are several reasons to choose an experienced Realtor to list your home.
Realtors have processes in place to screen potential buyers who will be
in your home. Trying to take on the appointment scheduling for showings
is a huge undertaking better left to the full time staff of a real estate
brokerage. If a buyer is being represented by an agent, the buyer's agent
will not have your best interest at heart. Having your own representation
will ensure that negotiations go smoothly and all parties are treated fair-
ly. Even though we are moving in the direction of less paper in our daily
lives, there are still many documents associated with the sale of a home.
Using a Realtor and in turn their long standing relationship with a repu-
table title company ensures that your documents are prepared correctly
and you will have knowledgeable contacts who are able to help you
understand these lengthy documents.

The best way to get the most accurate estimate of your home's value is
to call a Realtor who will create a free market analysis for you. Using
online sites can often give you an inaccurate value because these sites
are not able to take into consideration details such as homes which are
on a main road, interior renovations, or lack thereof, or discrepancies
such as a third full bathroom being in the lower level as compared to
being on the bedroom level of the home.
