American Friends of

Bar-Ilan University

Dem/ D'eaote-

,ge/wil. erownemmi-5,

Bar-Ilan University and its American Friends
thank and congratulate the Detroit Jewish
community for its instrumental role over six
decades in the birth and development of
the University. From an idea, a dream six
years ago, Bar-Ilan has grown to become
a major institution of higher learning
with more than 33,000 graduate and
undergraduate students on five campuses
throughout Israel, including the country's
newest medical school.
Other communities have meaningfully
contributed to Bar-Ilan's growth; in
doing so they have followed Detroit's
leadership.
