Splash Shabbat

B'nai Moshe holds family Shabbat at Heritage Park.

0

n June 21, members of Congregation B'nai
Moshe in West Bloomfield met at the
Heritage Park Splash Pad in Farmington Hills
to welcome in Shabbat with the synagogue family.
Cantor Earl Berris, in his favorite baseball cap, got
the crowd singing traditional and fun Shabbat songs,
and Rabbi Elliot Pachter had the kids and family mem-
bers acting out a biblical skit.
After a quick dinner, children were off and running
through the sprinklers, climbing all over the play-
ground structures and taking mini breaks for yummy
ice cream treats. The adults had a chance to relax and
kibitz — and had their fill of ice cream, too!
The program was sponsored by the LIFE program/
B'nai Moshe Hebrew School.
