Gifted with a quirky wit, John had a laugh that usually made him the center of attention. He laughed and joked in the midst of adversity. The depth of his generosity, loyalty, love and devotion to family was unfath- omable. Mr. Jones shared all his suc- cess with the friends and family he was so devoted to, leaving only the bare necessities for himself. His passions were family, ancestry and sports. He was an avid fan of all Detroit teams; even in the hospital, he kept up with the scores of all his teams. His was truly a celebration of life.
