ROBERT D. LEACH, 91,
of West Bloomfield, died
June 21, 2013.
He was the director
and a teacher for Detroit
and Suburban Tutoring
Services.
Mr. Leach is survived
Leach
by his daughter and
son-in-law, Gail M.
and Aubrie Appel of Canada; grandsons,
Joshua Jacob Appel and Jeremy Aaron
Appel. He is also survived by Lenore Rich,
his cousin with whom he was raised; lov-
ing nieces, nephews, other cousins and
friends. The family also acknowledges
the loving care given by Sunrise of West
Bloomfield and Seasons Hospice.
Mr. Leach was the beloved husband of
the late Sylvia Leach.
Interment was at Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

ZELDA (COHEN) ROBINSON,

83, of
Highland Park, Ill., formerly of Michigan,
died June 14, 2013.
She was a woman of valor: vibrant, a
lifelong learner, an active contributor to

her community, a world traveler. She was a
graduate of the University of Michigan and
a life member and adult bat mitzvah of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek. She was also
a 17-year member of the Southfield School
Board. Mrs. Robinson was an inductee
to the Michigan School Board Hall of
Fame for leadership efforts resulting in
Holocaust education becoming mandatory
for all high school students in the state.
Also, she served as a vice president of the
League of Women Voters, was a life mem-
ber of Hadassah, transcribed books into
Braille and taught English to immigrants.
In addition, she was a lifetime supporter
of the University of Michigan Alumni
Association's Camp Michigania.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her chil-
dren, Harriett and Keith Bruns, Ellen and
Aaron Krumbein; grandchildren, Rachel
Krumbein (Todd) Siegal, Abby Krumbein,
Ari Krumbein and Ethan Bruns; brother-
in-law and sisters-in-law, Jules Teck,
Martha Lathrop and Bobbie Schiffman.
She was a beloved aunt and cousin to
many. The family gives special thanks to
Dexter Magale for his heartfelt assistance.
Mrs. Robinson was the devoted wife of
the late Eli.
Services were held at Chicago Jewish

Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., in Skokie.
Interment was at Memorial Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to Hadassah, 50 W 58th St., New York,
NY 10019; or U.S. Holocaust Memorial
Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place
SW, Washington, DC 20024-2126.

BERNICE STONE, 97,
of West Bloomfield, died
June 17, 2013.
She is survived by her

grandchildren, Melissa
Brickner, Cory (Liz) Brickner, Stacey
Underwood, Loren (Angel) Chudler, Jonny
(Kezzie) Chudler; great-grandchildren,
Catherine, Scott, Anthony, Julia, Nicholas,
Jack, Liam and Owen; many other loving
family members and friends.
Mrs. Stone was the beloved wife of the
late Joseph Stone; mother-in-law of the
late Stuart Brickner.
Interment took place at the Hebrew
Memorial Cemetery in Clinton Township.
Contributions may be made to a charity
of one's choice. Arrangement by Dorfman
Chapel.

MARCIA ROSIN, 80, of West Bloomfield,
died June 17, 2013.
She is survived by her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, William and Michelle Rosin of
Birmingham; daughters and sons-in-law,
Cathy and Steve Malette of Ann Arbor,
Jill and Jim Vanko of Mammoth Lakes,
Calif., Jane Weisling of West Bloomfield;
sister, Lois Gregg; sisters-in-law, Stephanie
(Dante Bencivenga) Olen, Audrey (Fred)
Kapetansky; brother-in-law, Glen (Sandy)
Rosin; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ben)
Barber, Emily Malette, Kattie and Allison
Vanko, Joshua Hohwart, Stephanie and
Brooke Rosin, Nicholas Feys.
Mrs. Rosin was the beloved wife of the
late Merle W Rosin; the sister of the late
David Olen; the sister-in-law of the late
Harold Gregg.
