MICHAEL NORMAN BALAMUT, 72,
of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of West
Bloomfield, died June 16, 2013.
He is survived by Sharon, his wife of 51
years; his children, David, Randy (Jenny)
and Todd; grandchildren, Jacob, Casey,
Noah, Jordan, Shayna, Zane, Marni and
Hannah; sisters and brothers-in-law,
Madeline Posner Rosenfield, Lois and Nat
Fishman, and Nate and Nancy Goldberg;
many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Mike is also survived by Lory Balamut and
Ray Epstein.
Mr. Balamut was the brother-in-law
of the late Herbert and Irene Goldberg,
Edward and Miriam Goldberg, Dr. Irwin
Posner and Jerry Rosenfield.
Interment took place at Mount Sinai
Cemetery in Phoenix. A memorial ser-
vice will be held in Michigan at a later
date. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary of
Arizona.

ARNOLD BRAININ,
91, of Oak Park, died
June 17, 2013.
He is survived by
his beloved wife,
Grace Brainin; sons
and daughter-in-law,
Bernard and Richele
Brainin
Brainin of Chicago,
c. 1998
Ill., Robert Brainin of
Amherst, Mass.; daugh-
ter-in-law, Ruth Hutton; sister-in-law,
Betty Levitsky; grandchildren, Joshua,
Samuel, Philip and Summer Brainin;
many loving nieces, nephews, other lov-
ing family members and friends.
Mr. Brainin was the brother of the
late Jerome (the late Gertrude) Brainin;
brother-in-law of the late Manuel (the
late Ester) Levitsky and the late Morton
Levitsky.
Contributions may be made to Yad
Ezra or to a charity of one's choice.
Interment took place at the Clover
Hill Park Cemetery in Birmingham.
