ark and Jodee Smith of
Orchard Lake are delighted
to announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Brittany to Jonathan
Smith, son of Thad and Mary Ellen Smith of
Commerce.
Brittany is the granddaughter of the late
Daniel and Kimberly Krantz. She earned
her bachelor's degree in psychology with a
minor in nutrition and health from Oakland
University. After graduating, Brittany was
accepted into the accelerated program for
medical esthetics and obtained her license
as a medical esthetician.
Jonathan earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. He is
in accounting at Basic Rubber & Plastics Company.
The couple reside in Birmingham. A November wedding is planned.

ebrate their 50th anniversary
on June 23. They were honored at a dinner
party with their children and grandchildren,
Julie, Steve, Jake and Jordyn Plotnik, Jill
and Jay Rupp, and Shawna, Brian, Noa and
Talya Apple. Their children surprised them
by having Rabbi Harold Loss come to renew
their vows under the same chuppah that
their children were married with.

forthcoming wedding of their children
Sheryl Beth Katzen and Michael William
Klinger.
Sheryl teaches kindergarten at Detroit
Country Day School in Bloomfield Hills.
Michael is an IT analyst with Tower
International.
The wedding will take place July 14 at the
Marriott Centerpointe in Auburn Hills. After
their honeymoon in Mexico, the couple will
reside in Farmington Hills.
