ELAINE RUBINSTEIN, 75, of Oak
Park, died June 12, 2013.
She is survived by her son, Kevin
Clepps of Oak Park; daughters and
son-in-law, Michelle Rubinstein of Oak
Park, Elisa and Ezra Levender of Oak
Park; brother-in-law, Dennis Dworin;
grandchildren, Azarya Levender,
Kayleh Levender, Noam Zev Levender;
many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rubinstein was the beloved
wife of the late Ernest Rubinstein; dear
sister of the late Marilyn Dworin.

WILLIAM C. SHAPIRO, 97, of Boca
Raton, Fla., died June 11, 2013.
He is survived by his daughter and
son-in-law, Andrea and Jack Weiner
of Winnetka, Ill.; son and daughter-
in-law, Barry and Nancy Shapiro of
Franklin; grandchildren, Billy (Jen)
Shapiro, Adam (Larissa) Shapiro,
Stephen (Meagan) Shapiro, Lauren
(Dr. Russell) LeBoyer, Blair Weiner,
Zack Weiner; great-grandchildren,
Evan, Dessa, Autumn, Vivienne, Elliot,
Austin, Chloe; many loving nieces,
nephews, other family members and
friends.
Mr. Shapiro was the beloved hus-
band of the late Dorothy Shapiro; the
brother of the late Naomi Tendler and
the late Arthur Shapiro.

WEINGARDEN, 77,
of West Bloomfield,
died June 10, 2013.
He was an osteo-
pathic physician,
who practiced in
Detroit. He was
Weingarden
also a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, the
Michigan Osteopathic Association and
the National Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Weingarden is survived by his
wife, Linda Weingarden; daughter
and son-in-law, Nicole and Stephen
Eisenberg of Bloomfield Hills; son and
daughter-in-law, David and Michele
Weingarden of Colorado; grand-
children, Noah and Evan Eisenberg,
and Gideon and Sabine Weingarden;
brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Terry and
Susan Weingarden of West Bloomfield;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law,
Robert and Judy Cohen; nieces and
nephews, Julie and Bobby Dubin,
Kevin and Shelley Weingarden, Melissa
and Scott Selzer, Debbie and Jeff
Arbesman, and their children; and a
world of friends.
He was the devoted son of the late
Samuel and the late Peggy Weingarden;
the dear son-in-law of the late Sidney
and the late June Cohen.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
