DIANA TOBIN, 83, of

Boca Raton, Fla., for-
merly of Michigan, died
June 4, 2013.
She was known as
"Blondie," a force at the
Ferry-Chene market
in Detroit, where she
Tobin
operated a produce
stand. Several articles have been written
describing her activities and life. She
was active in Women's American ORT,
including reorganizing an unprofitable
store on Nine Mile Road in Ferndale
and making it profitable. In addition,
she worked tirelessly at the Holocaust
Memorial Center as a docent and
assisted in the redesign and organization
of the exhibit as it related to her birth
country of Lithuania.
Mrs. Tobin was involved in many
other charities and quietly supported
many in need. She was a member of
Congregation B'nai Torah in Boca Raton
and was a past member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek.
Mrs. Tobin is survived by her husband
of 64 years, Morton Tobin; children,
Aubrey Tobin and Joanne Levine of West

Bloomfield, Sandra and Paul Marx of
Laguna Beach, Calif., Amy and Allen
Olender of West Bloomfield, Aaron
Tobin of Oak Park, Bonnie and Zoel
Silverman of Pittsburgh, Pa.; grand-
children, Teddie Olender, Max Olender,
Julie Silverman, Melanie Silverman,
Ilyse Silverman; many loving nieces and
nephews.
She was the loving daughter of the late
Itel and the late Mordechai Berzaner;
dear sister and sister-in-law of the late
Raiza Berzaner, the late Miriam and the
late Jack Gold.
Contributions may be made to Yad
Ezra, 2850 W. 11 Mile Road, Berkley,
MI 48072; Holocaust Memorial Center,
28123 Orchard Lake Road, Farmington
Hills, MI 48334; or Alzheimer's
Association, 20300 Civic Center Drive,
#100, Southfield, MI 48076. Interment
was held at Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

SUE WEISS, 81, of
West Bloomfield, died,
June 6, 2013.
She was active in the
Jewish community as a
member of the Einstein
Lodge of B'nai B'rith,
Congregation B'nai
Weiss
Moshe and its sister-
c. 1980
hood, Shaarit Haplayta
and the Jewish
Community Center.
She was also active
with American Friends
of Magen David Adorn
and the Holocaust
Memorial Center. Mrs.
Weiss and her husband
were the owners of Modern Bakery.
She is survived by her husband
of 62 years, Martin Weiss; son and
daughter-in-law, Steven and Susan
Weiss of Rochester Hills; daughter,
Lori Weiss of West Bloomfield; brother,
Ben Kozlowski; grandchildren, Brooke
Weiss, Kristen Weiss; nieces and neph-
ews, Shirley and Howard Switzman,
Mark and Cindy Schnier, Nancy and Joe
Bouwers, Jenny and Mike Schrieder.

Mrs. Weiss was the dear sister and sis-
ter-in-law of the late Leo Kozlowski, the
late Colleen Kozlowski, the late Bertha
and the late Meyer Schnier.

Orchard Lake Road, Farmington Hills,

held at Adat Shalom Memorial Park in
