JFNA has opened a mailbox to support relief efforts of the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City. One hundred percent of funds donated will go to the local Federation and its relief efforts on the ground. "Our hearts go out to all those who were in the path of this disas- ter and who are grieving the loss of their loved ones," said Michael Siegal, chair of the JFNA board of trustees. The Jewish Senior Life Auxiliary raises money to support quality of life at JSL residences for social, recreational and holiday activities. The auxiliary's signature fundraiser is the W.J. & Lillian Kemler Walk of Ages event in August. The auxiliary supports special musical events, the Nosh Nook and gift shop, supplies flowers for holi- days at JSL and also acts as the "wel- come wagon" for all new JSL resi- dents. The auxiliary began in 1925, and is operated with the help of vol- unteers who are vital for the quality of life for older adults served. Prom For Ill Teens Wish Upon A Teen will host Metro Detroit teens at their "Evening of Dreams... "Evening of Dreams" is targeted at teens ages 13 to18 who have life- threatening/chronic illness or injury.
