Guys Night Out

ore than 300 men gath-
ered April 25 at Tam-
0-Shanter Country
Club in West Bloomfield to show
solidarity with the Friends of the
Israel Defense Forces and to have a
good time at the annual FIDF Guys
Night Out.
"This is the ultimate testa-
ment to their caring, concern and
passion for supporting this vital
cause said Rick Kovacs, Michigan
FIDF executive board member,
who was pleased with the turnout.
He founded the event seven years
ago.
Guys Night Out guests were
entertained with a strolling dinner,
open bar, scotch and cigar lounge,
casino-style games, amazing raffle
prizes and much more.
"It's a great event because it
brings together the youth of Metro
Detroit and the older generation
to preserve a great organization
and cause deeply rooted in the
Jewish community:' said Matthew
Shiffman.
Mark Orechkin chaired this
year's event.

Kadima's annual fundraiser features psychic medium Rebecca Rosen.

n the morning of April 26 at the Maple
Theater in Bloomfield Township, more than
250 Kadima supporters enjoyed good food,
great company and anticipated connecting with a loved
one who had passed on.
Back for a second year in a row, former Detroiter

Rebecca Rosen, noted psychic medium and author,
wowed the audience with astonishing psychic readings.
Event chairs Barbara Cohn, Michelle Saulson and Robin
Tobin-Murav, along with their dedicated committee,
put together a successful event, drawing many sponsors
and supporters from the Metro Detroit area.
