SARA SCHOEM, 91, of Ann Arbor, died
May 20, 2013.
She was a nursery school teacher and
children loved her and were drawn to her
warmth, kindness and comforting ways.
Mrs. Schoem was devoted to her family
throughout her life.
She is survived by her sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Mark and Esther Schoem, and
David and Karyn Schoem; grandchildren,
Davida and Tony, Jesse, Adina and Joe, and
Shana; great-grandchildren, William Noah
and Emilia; sisters-in-law, Ann Richman
and Betty Richman.
She was the beloved wife of the love of
her life, the late Gerald Schoem, for 57
years; the loving sister of the late Norman
Richman, the late Dorothy Malkin, the
late Leonard Richman and the late Carl
Richman; the dear sisters-in-law of the
late Ida Richman and the late Seymour
Malkin.
Interment was at Arborcrest Cemetery.
