Her proud parents
are Annette and
Mitchell Benson, and
her brother is Jonah. Her grandparents
are Shoshana Byck and the late Arthur
Byck, Sandy Benson and the late
Martin Benson.
Lia is a student at Cranbrook
Kingswood Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. Among her various
mitzvah projects, she felt helping many
times at Gleaners Food Bank was the
most meaningful.

The girls are also the grandchildren of
the late David Bittker.
Hallie and Shoshie attend West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
Volunteering at the Bottomless Toy
Chest was their most meaningful mitz-
vah project.

bar mitzvah
Saturday, May 25, at
Kadans
Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield. He
is the brother of Sarah and the
grandchild of Barry Kadans and the
late Marlene Kadans, Tedd and
LeeAnn Houck, and Deborah and
Robert Ervin.
Jacob attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. He
helped his family raise a puppy for
Leader Dogs for the Blind and assist-
ed in obedience classes. He felt this
project was meaningful.
