Mr. Weinman was the devoted son
of the late Sam and the late Beckie
Weinman; the cherished brother of
the late Gloria Little and the late Joe
Weinman.
Interment was at Hebrew Memorial

She is survived by her

of Austin, Texas; brother, Nathan Schafer;
grandchildren, Michael (Patty) Weinstein,
Marla (Brian) McCaffrey; great-grandchil-
dren, Kyle, Bradley, Hailey, Julia and Simon;
Sol Weiss' children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Weinstein was the beloved wife of
the late Joseph Weinstein; the companion
of the late Sol Weiss; the mother of the late
Ernie (partner Scott Feinstein) Weinstein.
Contributions may be made to
Hospice of Michigan, Easter Seals or to
a charity of one's choice. Interment took
place at Machpelah Cemetery in Flint.

LOUIS I.
ZUCKERMAN, 90, a
long-time resident of
Detroit, passed away
May 6, 2013, in Los
Angeles.
He was born in
Chicago, served as an
Zuckerman
Army officer in Europe
in World War II and
moved to Detroit in the early 1950s.
Originally in the hardware business, he
eventually become a salesman for the
New York Life Insurance Company; in

1979, he was the top salesman of the com-
pany's 12,000 agents.
He was a member of Temple Israel and
the Tam-O-Shanter Country Club, an
enthusiastic golfer and bridge player, and,
in later years, a world traveler.
Mr. Zuckerman is survived by his
children, Edward Zuckerman and Ellen
Zuckerman; his granddaughters, Molly
Jane Levine Zuckerman and Margot Sadie
Zuckerman; his daughter-in-law, Liza
Levine; son-in-law, Philip Fields; stepgrand-
children, Joshua Fields and Amy Fields.
He died five weeks after the death of
Rochelle Zuckerman, his wife of 70 years.

Obituary Charges
