bout 65 people weathered the cold rain April 28 for the annual Birmingham-
Bloomfield Lag b'Omer community barbeque at Birmingham's Springdale
Park.
The park features a picnic shelter, which shielded participants from the rain, and a
barbecue pit to help people warm up.

The celebration included games for children and an archery exhibition by nationally
ranked Olympic-hopeful Coby Moskowitz, a freshman at Birmingham Seaholm High
School.
The annual Lag b'Omer picnic was hosted by the Birmingham-Bloomfield Chai
