YETTA DAVIDSON, 85,

of West Bloomfield, died
May 2, 2013.
She was a well-known
keyboard teacher in
the Southfield Public
Schools, having taught
at Birney Middle School
Davidson
and Lederle Middle
School.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by her daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Nancy and William
Handelman of West Bloomfield; son
and daughter-in-law, Robert and Vicki
Davidson of New Jersey; grandchildren,
Leslie Handelman, Amy Handelman and
fiance, Adam Eppenstein, Elyse Handelman
and Michael Davidson, Amy and David
Bersh, and Lori and David Steinfeld; great-
grandchildren, Michaela, Weston and Maya;
twin sister, Ruth Targum of Florida; nieces,
nephews, caregivers and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Leslie David Davidson; the loving sister
of the late Marion Litt, the late Arthur
Schutzman; the dear sister-in-law of the
late Herbert Targum.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made to

Sharon and Michael Balamut of Arizona;
brother and sister-in-law, Nate and Nancy
Goldberg of Farmington Hills; his late
sister Miriam Goldberg's companion, Ray
Epstein; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Howard and Marilyn Swartz, Fred Swartz
and Shirley Cykiert, and Valerie Swartz.
Mr. Goldberg was the beloved husband
of the late Irene J. Goldberg; the devoted
father of the late Steven Goldberg; the lov-
ing brother of the late Edward Goldberg;
brother-in-law of the late Miriam
Goldberg and the late Perry Swartz.
Interment was at Machpelah Cemetery.

SANDY HOSKOW, 80, passed away
peacefully of natural causes on April 25,
2013, at Beaumont Hospital.
He celebrated his bar mitzvah at B'nai
David Synagogue in Detroit. He graduated
from Central High School, University of
Michigan and Detroit College of Law.
Mr. Hoskow was charismatic and
charming and possessed an uncanny
memory. He had the ability to make peo-
ple feel special. He attracted friends from
all walks of life. He embraced reading,
sports, liberal causes and history, espe-
cially as it related to Jews in Detroit.
Mr. Hoskow is survived by his brother,
Gerald (Marilyn) Hoskow; former wife
and friend, Bonnie Littleton; her son, Kelly
(Monalise) Littleton; his children, Meggan
Hoskow, Emily (Devon) Herrick, Peter
Hoskow, Tim Hoskow; six grandchildren,
Keely, Sadie, Macade, Lucy, Teagan and
Beckett.
He was the son of the late David
(Goldie) Hoshkovitz.

GERALD "JERRY" JACOBS, 90, of
Farmington Hills, died April 29, 2013.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Faye Jacobs of Farmington Hills; son and
daughter-in-law, Ron and Sue Jacobs of
West Bloomfield; daughters and son-in-
law, Lynn Davey of Commerce, Darlene
and Rick Rothman of Huntington Woods;

JOHNSON, 87, died

He was born in
Port Allegany, Pa., to
Swedish parents, Oscar
and Gerda Johnson.
He was the youngest
Johnson
of four brothers, all of
c. 2000
whom served in the
U.S. military in World War II. He was a
proud graduate of Lycoming College in
Williamsport, Pa.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving
wife of 68 years, Evelyn Virginia; children,
Dr. Diane Alice Culik (fiancee of Stephen
L. Keys) of Farmington Hills, Linda Vee
Huston, Carol Gerda Johnson and Mark
Walter Johnson, all of California; grand-
children, Anna Culik and Peter Deyo,
Josef and Shawna Culik, Monica and Seth
Kaplan, Laura Huston and Henkel Smith,
and Nathan Johnson; great-granddaughter,
Dylan Eliana Smith, 5.
