She was the beloved wife of the late
Joseph Hirsch; loving sister and sister-
in-law of the late Gertrude and the late
Robert Rothenberg, the late Melvin and
the late Sylvia Hirsch; dear friend of the
late Sidney Katzman.

ROSE KARDEN, 90, of Coral Springs,

Fla., formerly of Southfield, died March
10, 2013.
Mrs. Karden was an active and lifelong
member of Hadassah, ORT and of Temple
Beth El in Bloomfield Township and in
Florida. She also excelled as a volunteer in
typing Braille in Hebrew and English. She
was a member of the Jewish War Veterans
Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Allan and Anna-Jean

Michael and Rachael. She is also survived
by Bob's children, Arnold and Adriana
Leaf, Allen and Nacha Leaf; and their chil-
dren and grandchildren.
Mrs. Moss was the beloved partner of
the late Bob Leaf; the loving sister of the
late Ronald Moss.

Detroiter of Skokie, Ill., died April 17,
2013.
Mr. Novetsky is survived by his sisters,

loving nieces and nephews.

MAXINE PEARLMAN, of Southfield and

Rancho Mirage, Calif., passed away on
April 15, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Joseph H. Pearlman. She is survived by her
loving family.

Mrs. Salzberg was the beloved wife of
the late Walter H. Salzberg.

DR. YAKOV SIGAL, 91,

of Southfield, died April
16, 2013.
He first served in the
Russian Army during
World War II and then
became a member of a
partisans group for three

years. In the United
States, Dr. Sigal became
a member of the Russian Veterans of
World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years,
