rs. Judith and Steven Rapp are
delighted to announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Lauren
Ashley to Kenneth David, son of Dr. and Mrs.
Joseph Eichenbaum of New York, N.Y.
Lauren received her B.S. degree at the
University of Michigan. She got her medical
degree and is currently a resident in physi-
cal medicine and rehabilitation at the Mount
Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
Kenneth attended the University of
Pennsylvania and Wharton, where he earned
degrees in engineering and economics, and an
M.S. in engineering. He attended Mount Sinai
It, .
Medical School and is completing his anesthesi- '
ology residency training in New York
The couple will move to Palo Alto, Calif., in June to further their training at
Stanford University Medical Center: Lauren in physical medicine and rehabilita-
tion and Ken starting a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia.
A May wedding is planned at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester.

engagement of their son Michael Weingarten
to Anna Grushevsky, daughter of Vladimir
Grushevsky of Summit, N.J.
Michael earned his bachelor of sci-
ence degree in electrical engineering from
Michigan State University and a master of
systems engineering degree from Cornell
University. He is working for Lockheed
Martin in Moorsetown, N.J.
Anna received her bachelor's degree in
public health from the University of Rochester and, in May, will be a graduating
physician from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She will
pursue a residency in pediatrics at Connecticut Children's Medical Center with
the goal of becoming a pediatric emergency physician.
A June wedding is planned in Philadelphia, Pa.

daughter Carly Erin to Nicholas Andrew
Gorski, son of Diane and Jerry Gorski of
Columbia, Mo., formerly of Ann Arbor.
Carly earned her bachelor's degree in
biology at the University of Michigan and
her master's degree in genetic counseling at
Northwestern University. She is an assistant
professor of neurology at Stanford.
Nick earned his bachelor's degree in com-
puter engineering and his master's and Ph.D.
in computer science and engineering with an
emphasis in artificial intelligence at the University of Michigan. He is the resi-
dent machine learning expert at TellApart in Burlingame, Calif.
Carly and Nick reside in San Francisco and will be married in May at the
University of Michigan Museum of Art.
