DR. MARTIN IRA
APPLE, 57, of
Birmingham, died
April 13, 2013.
He was an oph-
thalmologist and the
owner of American
Eye Institute with
Apple
offices in Southfield
and West Bloomfield.
Dr. Apple is survived by his wife,
Margo Apple; daughters and son-
in-law, Dr. Leigh Apple and Jason
Hittelman, and Madeline Apple; sons,
Dr. Joshua Apple and Max Apple;
grandchildren, Seth and Sloane
Hittelman; sister and brother-in-law,
Debbie and Dr. Bernard Schwartz;
his two sisters, who were triplets
with him, and their husbands, Karen
and Marc Lederman, and Gail and
Dr. Louis Dvorkin; father-in-law
and mother-in-law, Marc and Joan
Horwitz; brother-in-law and sister-
in-law, Dr. Steven Horwitz and Nicole
Marshall.
He was the devoted son of the late
Meyer and the late Beverly Apple.
Interment was at B'nai Israel
Memorial Garden. Contributions may

died April 10, 2013.
She is survived
by her daughter and
son-in-law, Laurie
and Larry Goldman
Brandt
of Sacramento,
Calif.; son, Billy Brandt of Ferndale;
sister, Sara Spiwak of Southfield;
grandchildren, Amanda and Emily
Goldman; many loving nieces,
nephews other family members and
friends.
Mrs. Brandt was the beloved wife
of the late Shelby Brandt; the sister of
the late Julie Citron and the late Sylvia
Saltzman.

the Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish
Adult Day Care. Interment took
place at the Beth El Memorial Park

He is survived by
his wife of 59 years,

and Richard and Lisa Broder of West
Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law,
Suzanne and Steven Morgan of Utah;
grandchildren, Ben Broder, Sarah and
Mike Singer, Jacob Broder, Andrea
Morgan, Alan Morgan, Rachel Broder
and Erica Broder; great-granddaughter,
Hailey Broder Singer; brother and sis-
ter-in-law, William and Gloria Broder;
many nieces, nephews, cousins and a
world of friends.
Mr. Broder was the loving brother of
the late Harry Broder; the dear broth-
er-in-law of the late Peggy Broder, and
the late Richard and the late Rosalind
Kahn; the devoted son of the late Hy
and the late Celia Meyers Broder; dear
son-in-law of the late Ivor and the late
Vera Kahn.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park

Ellyn and Rabbi Edward Goldberg of
Southfield.
Dr. Cohen was the loving son of the

Cohen.
