Her brothers are Zachary and Jacob and her proud grandparents are Cindy and David Waterman, and Marjorie Waterman. She is also the grandchild of the late Marian and the late Dr. Gerald Bennett. Madison attends West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Her mitz- vah project is a social action program, involving Dixon Elementary School in Detroit, where 100 children from low-income families will participate in plans that involve reading and art. Samantha Janet Berger, together with her parents, Debbie and Michael Berger, and brothers Jeremy and Victor, will celebrate her bat mitzvah Saturday, Berger April 20, at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. She is the grandchild of Phyllis and Stanley Berger, and Ellie and Tom Slovis. Samantha is a student at Cranbrook Kingswood in Bloomfield Hills. Her most meaningful mitzvah project was her involvement at National Council of Jewish Women, where she packed backpacks with school supplies for homeless children in Oakland County.
