Feb. 18

Emily (Kaufman) and Josh Hunegs of Chicago are thrilled
to announce the birth of their son, Aiden Jacob (Velvel
Yisrael). Excited grandparents are Sue and Alan Kaufman
of Bloomfield Hills, and Rob Hunegs and Ann Hunegs of
Minneapolis, Minn Great-grandparents are Ceil Singer,
Lillian Kaufman, Joseph Brochin and Margaret Hunegs.
Aiden is named in loving memory of four of his great-
grandparents: Edward Singer, Herbert Kaufman, Donna
Brochin and Jim Hunegs.

become a bat mitz-
vah at Adat Shalom
Synagogue in
Farmington Hills on
Saturday, April 13.
Participating in the
Banooni
ceremony will be
Debi Banooni,
Houman Banooni and Jacob and
Natalie Banooni. Proud grandparents
are Steve and Lila Zorn of West
Bloomfield and Nayareh Banooni of
Los Angeles. Madi is also the grand-
child of the late Meir Banooni.
Madi is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Her mitzvah project
includes volunteering for Friendship
Circle in West Bloomfield, onsite and
at Friends at Home.

Matthew is a student at O.E.
Dunckel Middle School in Farmington
Hills. His most meaningful mitzvah
project was spending quality time
mentoring and interacting with a child
who is autistic.

brate his bar mitzvah
during Havdalah ser-
vices Saturday, April
13, at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield.
He is the son of
Klayman
Audrey and Brian
Klayman and the
brother of Hannah and Becca. His
proud grandparents are Mryna and
Cliff Klayman. He is also the grand-
child of the late Katherine and the late
Robert Richman, and the late Lilo
Klayman.
He enjoyed the experience of volun-
teering at Temple Israel's Labor Day
picnic as one of the mitzvah projects
he did.

Tessa Nicole Levin,
daughter of Linda
Levin Barnett and
Michael Levin, will
lead the congrega-
tion at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield
Friday, April 12, as
Levin
she celebrates her
bat mitzvah. Her sib-
lings are Alexa, Ella and Jacob. Sharing
in the simchah will be grandfather
Sheldon Sucher. She is also the grand-
child of the late Anne Nagel, the late
Doris and the late Harold Levin, and
the late Peggy Sucher.
Tessa attends O.E. Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. She felt
helping the homeless at Temple Israel
was a very meaningful mitzvah proj-
ect.
