JOSEPH JAMES HOLLAND, 56, of
White Lake Township, passed away
March 15, 2013.
He was a former resident of the Bay
Area of California.
He was the beloved husband for
121/2 years of Alecia Holland; son-in-
law of Marshall and Corinne Wise.

ALVIN RUSSMAN, 80, of Northville,
died March 24, 2013.
He is survived by his brothers and
sisters-in-law, Robert and Sandra
Russman, and Paul and Elaine
Russman; children, Stefani and Jon
Brand, Robert and Sharon Krinsky,
Alisa Krinsky and Paul McKenna,
and Nancy and Glen Stachecki; eight
grandchildren; many other loving
relatives and friends.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Sherry Russman.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

of Bloomfield Hills,

He was the
founder and chair-
man of Schechter
Wealth Strategies
and Schechter Benefits Advisors.
The company was started in 1984
and has offices in Birmingham and
Farmington Hills.
He is survived by his wife of 51
years, Bluma Schechter; sons and
daughters-in-law, Greg and Julia
Schechter of Seattle, Wash., and Marc
and Susan Schechter of Bloomfield
Hills; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel
and Jason Zimmerman of Huntington
Woods; grandchildren, Lauren
Schechter, Ben Schechter, Aaron
Schechter, Josh Schechter, Annie
Schechter, Sammie Schechter, Jordan
Zimmerman, Corey Zimmerman
and Ryan Zimmerman; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Ronald and Sheila
Schechter of Bloomfield Hills, and
Howard and Barbara Lee Schechter of
Stinson Beach, Calif.; sisters-in-laws,
Marilyn Schechter, Margo Bremen
and Beryl Bremen; many loving
nieces, nephews, and a world of
devoted and loving friends.
Mr. Schechter was the devoted
son of the late Hyman and the late
Lee Schechter; the loving son-in-law
of the late George and the late Elsie
Bremen; the cherished brother of the
late Neal Schechter; the dear brother-

in-law of the late Barry Bremen.

Park, died March 24, 2013.
She is survived by her son and

Keith of Ann Arbor; daughters

Borkin of Huntington Woods, Sandra
Weiswasser, Marilyn Schrut; grand-
children, Julie Borkin, Michael Borkin,
Lauren and Evan Kaploe, Ashley
Borkin, Melissa Borkin, Sam and
Melissa Keith, Marji Keith, Jonathan
and Liz Weiswasser, Gayle Daniel
Feldman; 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Schrut was the beloved wife of
the late Sam Keith and the late Max
Schrut; loving daughter of the late
Max and the late Ethel Borison; dear
sister and sister-in-law of the late
Betty and the late Lou Hart, the late
Jean and the late Eddie Greenstone,
the late Joseph and the late Shirley
Borison, the late Oscar and the late
Ann Borison, the late Margaret and
the late David Gutman, the late
Morris and the late Marny Borison.

HAROLD "BERNIE" SILVER, 77, of
Hollywood, Fla., died March 23, 2013.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Silver is survived by his
beloved wife of 54 years, Myra;
dear children, Sue and Todd; loving
siblings, Herb of West Bloomfield,
Rhoda and Alan.
He was the beloved son of the late
Jack and the late Lillian Silver.
Services and interment were held
in Florida.
