BETTY COHEN, 91, of Southfield,
died March 29, 2013.
She is survived by her grand-
children, Caitlin Klein and Joseph
Malcoun, and Julia Klein; great-grand-
children, Eva, Mayer and Lawrence
Malcoun.
Mrs. Cohen was the beloved wife of
the late Dr. Lewis Cohen; the cherished
mother of the late Judith Lynn Cohen.
Interment was at Adat Shalom

Obituaries
JACK S. FAGIN, 97,
died March 30, 2013.
He was born on
April 27, 1915, in
Chicago. He started
working in retail
at a uniform store
in Chicago in 1933
Fagin
and opened his first
business, a shoe store, in Madisonville,
Ky., in 1937. Six years later, he came
to Ann Arbor and was manager of a
men's clothing store before becoming
owner of Ann Arbor Clothing for 66
years. Mr. Fagin was the recipient of a
Lifetime Achievement Award in April
2011 from the city. For more than 20
years, he created the Fagin Challenge
through his Rotary affiliations, pro-
viding more than 2,000 children with
Christmas gifts. He was an active
member in serving his community.
In addition to his spirit of giving,
in January 2011, he was recognized
for his commitment to securing the
Masonic Legacy of Giving. He was wel-
comed into the Grand Master's Society
of Consecutive Givers. He was a Mason
since January 1954.
Mr. Fagin is survived by his children,
Sheryl Fagin, Jacquie Traub and Gary
(Maureen) Fagin; grandchildren, Mark
Fagin, Emily (Jason) Brown, Jennifer
(Clint) McPherson, Joshua Fagin,
Ryan Fagin, Tara Traub, Taylor Traub;
great-grandchildren, Olivia and Avery
McPherson, and Ella and Abe Brown.
He was preceded in death by his
wife, Betty Fagin; daughter, Teri Fagin;
and son, Randy Fagin.
Interment was at Arborcrest
Cemetery. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
JEANNE FELDSTEIN, 97, of
Southfield, died March 31, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter,
Lenore Diskin of West Bloomfield;
son and daughter-in-law, Robert and
Adrienne Feldstein of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Mark Diskin, Jon and
Margie Diskin, Jeffrey and Stacey
Diskin, Jamie Diskin, Tony Feldstein
and Leslie Flagel; great-grandchildren,
Mearyl Diskin, Harrison Diskin,
Brittany Diskin, Alyssa Diskin, Megan
Diskin and Adam Flagel.
Mrs. Feldstein was the beloved wife
for 76 years of the late Ben Feldstein.
She is the last of eight children of the
late Jacob and the late Sarah Feldstein.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may

He was the brother of the late
Sidney Goldman and the late Hilda
Kirschbaum; dear son of the late
Edward and the late Molly Goldman.
Interment was held at the Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery in
