He is survived by his wife, Sally

DR. SEYMOUR
EARL LeVINE, 82,
of Livonia, died
March 22, 2013.
He was a lieuten-
ant colonel in the Air
Force and an educa-
tor in the Livonia
LeVine
Public Schools.
Dr. LeVine is sur-
vived by his wife of 58 years, Maxine
LeVine; sons and daughter-in-law,
Ian and Cindy LeVine of Williamston,
Mich., and Peter LeVine and his fian-
cee, Carolyn Davis, of Palm City, Fla.;
daughters, Monica LeVine of Aurora,
Colo., and Robin Motisi of Arvada,
Colo.; grandchildren, Anthony Motisi
and Talia Motisi; brother and sisters-
in-law, Ronald and Doralee LeVine,
and Susan Goldberg. He is also sur-
vived by Cindy's children, Dr. Carrie
Preston and Major Derek Oliver, and
Casey Preston, as well as many loving
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dr. LeVine was the dear brother-in-law
of the late Dr. Bertram Goldberg.
Interment was at Great Lakes National
Cemetery. Contributions may be made to

Denver, Colo.
He was the father
of Linda (Jerry)
Francisco, Harold
"Hal" Paul, Jeffrey
(Diana) Paul and

Howard Paul; grandfather of Ben
(Sandra), Jennifer (Matt), Jessica
(Matt), Adrienne, Marisa (Terry),
Caitlin, Kristin and Sarah; great-
grandfather of Brynne, Bailey and
Caleb.
He was the husband of the late
Rosalie Paul.
Services were held at Temple
Emanuel-Feiner Chapel with inter-
ment at Emanuel Cemetery in
Denver. Contributions may be made
to the American Heart Association.

DAVID
PEKARSKIY, 88, of
Oak Park, died
March 18, 2013.
A retired major
in the Russian army,
Mr. Pekarskiy then
became a civil engi-
neer. He was a mem-
ber of a Soviet veter-
ans group, and he also volunteered at
Jewish Family Services.
Mr. Pekarskiy is survived by his
wife, Sofia Pekarskaya; sons and
daughters-in-law, Lev and Mariya
Pekarsky of West Bloomfield, Dr. Ilya
and Tatyana Pekarsky of Israel; grand-
children, Grigory, Yevgeniya, Dina and
Ido, Emil and Maya.

David and Jacob Kleiman, and Emma,
Erika and Joe Kleiman. Mr. Pierce is
also survived by Adrian's children,
Scott and Michelle Kleiman, Ingrid
and Scott Segall, and Ira and DeAnna
Kleiman.
He was the beloved husband of
the late Marion Pierce; the cherished
father of the late Elizabeth Pierce.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
