What I have the privilege of calling my job has truly been a dream come true. It is an honor to be able to organize and host all of the intramural leagues and social events that ComePlayDetroit has had to offer. We have had more than 9,000 people participate in CPD, and our highlights have ranged from having the opportunity to host the Detroit Lions half-time show on Monday Night Football, to hosting Dodgeball in the D, an attempt at the world's largest dodgeball game on Belle Isle. CPD is now taking our next steps in the community rebuilding effort with the opening of our first physical space, the ComePlayDetroit Fitness Studio, located at 110 Clifford St. in Detroit. The space has been built out and decorated, Temple Beth El Early Childhood Center Adults and children welcome and we have already begun to offer yoga, zumba and boot camp classes over the past two months. It is clear to us that there is a need and demand in the city for this space, so now it's time to really crank things up and take this to the next level!
