ob and Rhonda Pliskow of
Huntington Woods are thrilled to
announce the engagement of their
daughter Sharee to Roenan, son of Jerry and
Drora Patt of Buffalo Grove, Ill.
Sharee earned her bachelor's degree
in elementary education with a minor in
early childhood from Western Michigan
University. She is employed as a director of
administration for a preschool in Glenview,
Ill.
Roenan recently earned his law degree
from the John Marshall Law School in
Chicago. He is employed as an associate at
Malecki, Tasch & Burns LLC in Oakbrook, Ill.
A June wedding is planned in Michigan.

Katz-Katzman

D

r. Rebecca Katzman and Scott
Katz were married recently at
Congregation B'nai Moshe in
West Bloomfield by the bride's sister Rabbi
Sheryl Katzman and brother-in-law Rabbi
Elliot Goldberg. Chazzan David Montefiore
sang at the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Dr. Gerald and
Anne Katzman; parents of the bridegroom
are Edith and the late Steven Katz.
Participating in the ceremony along
with the couple's parents were the bride's
grandmother Helen Katzman, her brother
Rabbi Michael Katzman, and her nieces
Liora, Michal and Hadas Goldberg, as well
as the groom's brother, Jim Katz. A friend's
daughter, Orli Schwartz, was the ring bearer.
Friends and family members pronounced
the sheva brachot under the chuppah.
The couple will reside in Boston, where Rebecca is a scientific editor for the
journal Cancer Cell and Scott is an attorney practicing criminal law at Swomley
and Tennen LLP.
