Scott Scharg

Scott is the President and Co-
Founder of "It's a 10 Haircare." He
is a successful businessman and
entrepreneur. In a short time, his
products gained the finest reputation
and are being sold in salons
worldwide.
Scott is a great Zionist and a lover
of the State of Israel. He attributes
this love to his visit to Israel, which
made a strong impact on him and
strengthened his Jewish identity.
He is a great humanitarian and
philanthropist who supports many
organizations in Israel, including
Nefesh B' Nefesh, consisting of
volunteer soldiers from all over the
world, who come alone to Israel
without families; Tel-Hashomer
Hospital, which treats burn victims
from war combat; and Israel Bonds.
Scott endowed the "Chair for
Israel Programming" at the Aventura
Turnberry Jewish Center, which
allows to bring Scholars-in-Residence
and speakers to the Synagogue. Scott
also is a major benefactor of Greater
Miami Jewish Federation, and a
Society Founder of Mt. Sinai Medical
Center in Miami Beach.
As well as his love and support of Israel, Scott has a philosophy about life that is centered on his belief
that the true test of ethics comes not when a person gives with nothing to lose, it comes when he gives with
everything to lose.
Scott knows real poverty is never having a big thought or a generous impulse. He believes ethics go deeper
than simply making donations and glad handiling for good causes; they are at the core of his being, they are for
him a way of life. He believes the measure of life is not its duration but its donation.
Scott was the benefactor of professor Alan Dershowitz's visit to the Aventura Turnberry Synagogue in
January. He supports the programs of Professor Dershowitz advocating the Case for Israel on school campuses,
providing young Jewish students with the understanding of the legitimacy of the State of Israel. Scott grew up in
Southfield, Michigan and attended Southfield Lathrup High School. His proudest achievement is his son Tayler
who attends college in Orlando.
