Lacey is a student at Norup
International School in Oak Park. For
her mitzvah project, she participated
in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the
Cure — raising money, serving snacks
and cheering on walkers throughout
the three days.

His sister Nina and
grandparents Nancy and Sy Cohen,
and Elaine and Max Fertel will share
in the simchah.
Nicholas is a student at Walnut Creek
Middle School. He donated his hair for
two consecutive years to Children with
Hair Loss and felt this mitzvah project
was especially meaningful.

Mechlowitz. She is also the grandchild
of the late Ira Mechlowitz.
Avery is a seventh-grader at
Bloomfield Hills Middle School. As
part of her mitzvah experience, she
completed the Mitzvah Volunteer
Training Program at Friendship Circle,
where she now volunteers regularly.

grandchild of the late Diane Weinert
and the late Maly and Hersh Goldberg.
Benny is a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Birmingham. His
most meaningful mitzvah project was
goalie coaching, twice a month, for
young hockey players.

Lake. He volunteered at Gleaners
Community Food Bank on Christmas
Day and felt this was an important
community mitzvah project.
