Sleek modern elements mix with traditional bones for a fresh kitchen brimming with

the personality of the homeowners. Ross custom-designed the kitchen's pantry doors,

which are crossed with polished metal grills and covered with frosted glass to hide the

pantry's contents. Indestructible and sleek Caesarstone tops the custom island of rift-

cut oak, which provides room for eating on one end and room for working and storage

on the other. Rich wormy chestnut flooring throughout the home is juxtaposed with a

herringbone-patterned inset beneath the island. The elongated tiles of the tumbled-glass

backsplash add a modern sensibility and lustrous shimmer.

Simple yet lustrous silk custom bedding becomes the focus of the master

bedroom. The textural wallcovering, crafted to look like fabric, extends

to the ceiling, and Euro pleats add elegant order to the substantial drap-

ery. Ross custom-designed the window bench with an open middle so the

couple can look out to their lush garden or watch TV just as comfortably.

A graceful Edward Ferrell accent table can hold coffee and the morning

paper.
