Irwin Alterman
died March 4,
2013. Last May, the
Jewish Federation
of Metropolitan
Detroit honored
him with a Lifetime
Achievement
Irwin Alterman
Award.
Mr. Alterman was a past-presi-
dent of both the Jewish Community
Center and Adat Shalom Synagogue;
he served on the boards of the
Jewish Federation, the United Jewish
Foundation, BBYO, JVS, Holocaust
Memorial Center, Hillel Day School
and United Hebrew Schools.
A funeral was scheduled for
March 6 at Adat Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills officiated by
Rabbi Aaron Bergman and Cantor
Daniel Gross with burial at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park.
Arrangements were by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

Mrs. Forman was the beloved wife of
the late Dr. Jack Y. Forman; the devoted
mother of the late Lewis Forman; the lov-
ing sister of the late Molly Mondroe and
the late Harry Green; the dear sister-in-
law of the late Al Mondroe.
Interment was at Machpelah Cemetery.

Benjamin, Mailee, Keaton, Noah and
Brody; many loving nieces, nephews,
other family members and friends.
Mr. Goldberg was beloved husband of
the late Sara Goldberg; the brother of the
late Ruth (the late Nelson) Hall, Irving
(the late Annette) Goldberg, Esther (the
late Irving) Pantzer.

choice. Interment took place at the Beth
El Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.
