tor of T'ruah (formerly Rabbis for Human
Rights), speaks on 'Judaism and Human
Rights, or Why Is There a Tomato on the
Seder Plate?" at Beth Israel Congregation
in Ann Arbor. In North America, T'ruah
is working to eliminate modern slavery
in the agricultural system and standing
with American Muslim communities in the
face of discrimination. In Israel and the
occupied territories, T'ruah has supported
the creation of a fair asylum system for
refugees in Israel, opposed the growth of
settlements and partners with Bedouin
communities to protect their ancestral

Redesigned Website
JARC, an organization serving people
with disabilities, has launched its
newly redesigned website that fea-
tures many upgrades and improve-
ments, including a modern design,
easier navigation, a new JARC blog
with stories about activities and
people JARC serves, an events cal-
endar with links to purchase tickets,
volunteer opportunities and a store
highlighting JARC logo items.
The website, www.jarc.org, also
allows donors to easily make online
gifts or tributes and store donor
information securely for future
transactions.
