SARAH NEMON, 91, of Farmington Hills and Tamarac, Fla., died peacefully on Feb. 20, 2013. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was the head bookkeeper at Jewish Family Service until retire- ment. Mrs. Nemon was a committed volunteer in the Jewish community. She was a life member of Hadassah and Na'amat and a supporter of the Women's League for Israel, a life mem- ber and passionate volunteer with the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary (JWVA), where she held the positions of Green Auxiliary president, Michigan Department president and, finally, national president of JWVA. Mrs. Nemon is survived by her hus- band of 68 years, John Nemon; daugh- ter and son-in-law, Ruth and James Grey of Farmington Hills; sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Barry Nemon and Barbara Stark-Nemon of Ann Arbor, Dr. Howard and Pamela Nemon of Asheville, N.C.; daughter, Marsha Nemon of Walled Lake; grandchildren, Rachel and Dr. Jason Ellis, Emily and Jordan Berman, Adam Nemon, Eric and Christine Nemon, Nathan Nemon, Justin Nemon, Alicia Nemon; great- grandchildren, Shira, Ari and Noam Ellis, Jonah, Livie and Daisy Berman, and Connor Nemon; many other lov- ing family member and friends.
